Rehearsal and training rooms

The Polo Cultural Gaivotas | Boavista (Cultural Centre) has four rehearsal rooms (dance, music, theatre and multipurpose), and one training room, all technically equipped, in its headquarters building.

These rooms can be used by structures and professionals in the cultural sector to develop activities such as:

artistic creation and rehearsal, preferably in the fields of dance, music, performance, and theatre;
training in matters related to cultural activities, aimed at professionals in the cultural sector.

The use of the rooms includes loudspeakers, soundboard, Internet, locker rooms…

The rooms can be used for a minimum of 4 hours, and a maximum of three months.

WORKING DAYS
The rooms are open every day, except on the following dates:

January 1^st
Good Friday
Easter Saturday and Sunday
May 1^st
December 24^th and 25^th
December 31^st

WORKING HOURS
These rooms can be used during the following hours:

from 9am to 1pm
from 2 pm to 6 pm
from 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm (if you want to pay for night-time use at the Reception, you must arrive by 7:30 pm)

Who can use them?
The rooms are intended for professionals and cultural production structures, preferably from performing arts, that do not have their own space to develop artistic creation or rehearsals works.

The following have priority access for using these rooms:

professional and emerging artists;
activities that have a confirmed presentation date;
activities that best suit the room they intend to use (dance, music, performance, theatre or training).
